LESSON 11 TALKING ABOUT WEATHER

A lot of expressions used to talk about the weather in spanish use the verb hacer with a noun

 hace frío........it's cold
 hace calor.....it's hot
 hace sol........it's sunny
 hace viento...it's windy
hace buen tiempo.....the weather is good
hace mal tiempo.......the weather is bad

with the verb hay you can make more expressions

 hay niebla....it's foggy
 hay humedad....it's humid
 hay neblina.......it's misty

even we use the verb estar

 está nublado.....it's cloudy
 está lloviendo...it's raining
 está nevando....it's snowing

¿qué tiempo hace?..........what's the weather like right now?

    2. Hace is from verb hacer(to do, to make) and we use it when we talk about weather ex :it's hot=hace calor and hay means "there is" hay niebla=it's foggy, it is hot, cold...we use the verb hacer and we use hay if is foggy, windy
